Reason for application:

I dunno why - I know my request is futile…

And futile is as futile does. Dwelling in the past shall not surely have an influence on the present. Unless of course we speak of the fabulous braised red panda that the college chef has improved upon year upon year. Succulent and rich, not unlike the 1964 Chateau Lafite that accompanied it. And this offering of memories from a grown up passing as a teenager is indeed an interesting teatime digression. A shame that the good Frau was unable to procure more Jammy Dodgers to accompany this. 70’sTeen here harks back to halcyon days; days before spermicides, days of uplifting brassieres, big knickers……ach…..ak….oooh dear, ……..Matron, please take me to my rooms. And ensure that the good Frau passes on my recommendation for approval to the Colonel’s office……ooo…aaaah…mmmmm.. APPROVEED… AAAhhhhhhhh

It seems that Professor Gruber is somewhat over-excited about this weblog publication. Personally I hated the decade - bouncy orange things everywhere, glittery boots and people spitting on the King’s Road. You wouldn’t catch the Andrews Sisters in golden spandex catsuits dancing to intoxicating disco beats would you?

However - these are simply excerpts from the innocent days of a young girl’s life whose greatest crime was a fondness for bad trousers and Donny Osmond’s tooth collection. Approval granted.

    I find this approval slightly surprising but I suppose you know what you’re doing.

    A wise move, but futile on the part of the WBC. I still have those files. I doubt to ever be included on this list and so have been contemplating a nice sale of said file folder on eBay.

    However… I tried to give this blog 11 stars, but had to settle for 10. Perhaps you should fix that clicker?

    Oh my word I got a Green…. thank you so very much .. if I could ‘do’ humble I would .. instead I will ‘do’ disco.

    Prof I am shocked and stunned that you chose Panda in red wine I thought that ‘chicken in a basket with chips’ may have titilated your fancy more back then along with a youthful babycham and taking a cherry on a cocktail…!!

    Colonel.. where is your sense of fun.. a bouncy orange thing between your thighs was always invigorating … it always had a smiley face what ever the occasion.. as for spitting eewwww I can ID with that.

    I hate to break it to you Colonel but the Andrews sisters (or was it the Beverley Sisters?) did ‘do’ glittery spandex.

    Thank you every one .. if my only crime was wearing bad pants and a love of Donny’s dental surgery then I haven’t done too badly ;-)
