Oooooooooooooooo ……………………pink! I think you’ll have trouble with the colonel over this one Miss Polliwog. I wore pink the other day and was told to take it off straight away.

Don’t worry Miss Polliwog I wouldn’t be so brash with anyone other than staff. Your blog is straining the reins of mediocrity and as we don’t deal in tiaras a certificate will have to suffice. Anyone who can survive on a tiny island with a plethera of children needs all the encouragement they can get! May I suggest that if you wish to spend more time developing your blog that you encourage some of your offspring (if not all) to attend boarding school - it never did me any harm - look where I ended up! Membership approved.

    I am most honored to be accepted into the WBC and will display my certificate proudly!

    Can the colonel recommend a good boarding school for my plethora of children? (I just wanted to write the word plethora, it helps me feel less mediocre - hee hee!)

    Polly, thank you. I’m so glad I’m not alone on stuff. I don’t know what the World Blog Council is either. I just won the Blog Of the Day Award and didn’t even know there was such a thing…how wacked am I? So what is the World blog Council?

    Ms Polliwog - I’m not entirely sure that the establishments that I know well enough to recommend would cast a favourable ear upon the sound of an American vocal strain. Surely there are home grown establishments that would be willing to ignore such idiosyncracies.
    Ms Nucci - what is the WBC? I often ask the same question. But as long as they pay my salary and keep my tab at the Coach and Horses on expenses who am I to question anything?
